Complete the application on WhatsApp within minutes and get Conditional approved. Submit your ID , payslip and recent four months bank statements where your salary is paid into.

Approved
Once your application is finally approved, you’ll need to accept the terms and conditions before we send a DebiCheck request for your confirmation on your banking app. After you approve it, we’ll confirm the delivery and location of your package.

Dispatched
After the first payment is successfully collected via DebiCheck (R299 activation fee plus your first month’s subscription), your device will be dispatched. You’ll receive an SMS notification once it’s on its way.

Can I apply if I’m blacklisted?
Yes! Purple Mobile doesn’t do credit checks.
If you’re permanently employed and earn more than R6,000 per month, you could qualify.
I don’t have WhatsApp — can I still apply?
Our application process is fully handled through WhatsApp to make it quick and secure. If you don’t have WhatsApp, we recommend using a friend or family member’s account to complete the application. At this stage, we can only accept applications via the WhatsApp platform.

What if I have a passport instead of an SA ID?
Purple Mobile can accommodate you if you have a valid South African bank account and a payslip. These are required for the DebiCheck process and monthly subscription.

Do my minutes and data expire?
Depending on the SIM card, but with Purple Mobile’s Non-Expiry Airtime and Data SIMs, your airtime, minutes, and data never expire.
With our new offering, selected Purple Mobile packages include unlimited airtime and data, so there is no fixed monthly bundle that expires in the normal way.
Your service remains active while your subscription is paid up and your SIM is in good standing. Please note that a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) applies. This means the unlimited airtime and data are intended for normal personal mobile use, and excessive, abusive, commercial, or abnormal usage may be managed according to the network’s fair usage rules.
